Associate Professor of Music James Frost has performed in various American and European opera houses and festivals, with over 120 roles to his credit and 20 years in Europe as an opera performer. He teaches applied voice and directs the Opera Theatre at Lee University. While he performed primarily at the Stadttheater Hildesheim (Theater für Niedersachsen in Hildesheim, Germany), he has also sung at the opera houses and festivals in Leipzig, Bonn, Berlin, Innsbruck and Edinburgh, etc. In the USA he has appeared at the Kennedy Center, Boston Lyric Opera, St. Louis Opera Theatre, Central City Opera House Association and Knoxville Opera, and others. In concert, Mr. Frost has been heard as the tenor soloist for works from Bach, Händel, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Rossini, Beethoven, Weill and Britten.
